Orange Sky 2019

Oktoberfest Brisbane is proud to be partnering with Orange Sky again this year as our charity partner.

Orange Sky provides clean clothes and conversation for people experiencing homelessness. Through the provision of a free mobile laundry and shower services, Orange Sky provides a platform for every day Australians to connect in a safe, positive and supportive environment for people who are too often ignored or who feel disconnected from the community.

What started as an idea from two Brisbane locals in their garage, has now expanded to 26 services across the country and provides over 7,200kg of clean laundry a week! They also partner up with food vans and drop-in services, to ensure the need of each individual is met and they walk away with a smile on their face.

You can provide clean laundry, warm showers, and non-judgemental conversation to people experiencing homelessness throughout Australia by making a donation, click here to donate to Oktoberfest Brisbane’s Orange Sky donation page.

We can’t wait to have Orange Sky back at the festival in 2019, but in the meantime, be sure to familiarise yourself with the incredible work the team is doing.

And don’t forget to say hi at Oktoberfest Brisbane 2019!
