For those that want to look at buying into a piece of real German authenticity, you are able to purchase Dirndls, Lederhosen and a variety of accessories from the Festival’s official Trachten partner, Schnucki Dirndl & Lederhosen. Visit Brisbane

Discover Brisbane

Find out why everyone’s talking about Brisbane and make the most of the Queensland capital pre and post your visit to Oktoberfest Brisbane. Only a short walk from the venue is Fortitude Valley, home to bars, nightclubs, great restaurants, galleries, cutting-edge retail and live music venues.

In the CBD, you’ll discover brand and boutique retail and delectable waterfront dining. On the other side of the river, South Bank beckons with 17 hectares of parklands, the Streets Beach swimming lagoon and the eye-opening galleries of the Cultural Precinct. Take a leisurely cruise on the river from South Bank or at Eagle Street Pier.

If it’s adventure you’re after, head to Kangaroo Point for abseiling, rock-climbing, kayaking the river, roller-blading or cycling. For the ultimate experience, climb the Story Bridge and savour views over the city, hinterland and Moreton Bay.
