Ticket FAQs
How do I purchase tickets to the Festival?
Purchasing tickets to Oktoberfest Brisbane can only be done online via the official Oktoberfest Brisbane website or at the gate on the day. If you have bought tickets to the Festival through any other channels, we cannot guarantee that you will be able to enter the Festival with those tickets.
Check out this video for a friendly guide on safe ticket purchasing from our friends at Live Performance Australia.
How do I receive my tickets?
Online e-Tickets will be emailed, as a PDF attachment, to the email address you provided during the booking process once your credit card has been successfully charged. If you do not receive your e-Ticket(s) please contact us by writing an email to support@ticketbooth.com.au. When you buy a ticket at the gate on the day, you will receive it there.
How safe should I keep my e-Ticket?
Safeguard your e-Ticket like you would your cash, because it’s essentially the same. If you lose it, anyone can use it.
I bought a ticket online but didn’t receive an email, help!
Don’t panic! Normally the ticket will arrive within a few minutes of your card being successfully charged. Please check your spam/junk folder just in case. If it doesn’t arrive, we can help. Just drop us a line to help – support@ticketbooth.com.au with your name, Confirmation Id, and the email address used to purchase your e-Ticket.
Will I need to register or have an account to buy a ticket online?
That’s so 2010, so no you don’t need to register or have an account to buy a ticket to Oktoberfest Brisbane. A Ticketbooth account will be created for you once your purchase has been completed. You can log in at any time and download your ticket.
I can’t open the e-Ticket attachment, what do I do?
You’ll need to have the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader installed to open the .pdf e-Ticket. You can download it for free from here.
How does it work when I reach the gates?
Entry to the Festival is really easy. All you have to do is purchase a ticket and present valid photo ID (see these conditions for what is acceptable ID), along with your ticket for validation at the Festival entry. e-Tickets can be presented either as a print out or on a smart device.
What if I don’t have a printer?
Too easy, just show us your e-Ticket on your smart phone or device, we can scan the QR code from there.
I’ve lost my e-Tickets…
Oh dear…but don’t despair, just write us an email to support@ticketbooth.com.au and tell us your name, mobile phone number and the email address you used to buy your e-tickets and we can resend them to you.
Why do I have a time limit to complete my transaction?
Once you’ve selected your e-Tickets or add-ons, we are holding those just for you. During that time no one else can purchase them. If you exceed that time, those e-Tickets and add-ons will be released for others to purchase.
Can I buy tickets for cash?
Sure thing, just come to the Box Office at the gate on the day. Be aware though that you will get cheaper tickets if you buy online ahead of the Festival.
I’ve bought multiple tickets for me and my friends, but we’re arriving separately. What do I do?
The e-Ticket attached to the email you received after making your booking will contain one page for every ticket in your order. The easiest way is to print them and give them out amongst your group. Be very careful not to mix them up as each e-Ticket can only be scanned once to get entry into the Festival! Also make sure to keep track of who’s using what ticket to set up their Digital Wallet. If confusion occurs our tech-traordinaires can help you out, but it may cut into your time of enjoyment at the Festival.
What about ticket refunds?
If you made a mistake and accidentally bought a ticket for the same day as your pet hamster’s birthday, give your ticket to a mate as we can’t provide refunds, cancellations or exchanges except as required by law. Moral of the story: please choose your tickets carefully and keep in mind that Oktoberfest Brisbane is an all-weather Festival.
Do you charge any credit card or bookings fees?
No, my friend, Oktoberfest Brisbane is 100% Fee Free (yippee!)
Cashless System FAQs
Why is the Cashless System at Oktoberfest Brisbane so awesome?
Where do I start! Long story short, the benefits are almost endless. Here’s a list of the most important ones:
- You’ll save loads of time when making purchases at Oktoberfest Brisbane because paying with your Smart Wristband means all the lines will be moving much quicker. Just Top-up before you arrive and head straight to the action!
- It’s super easy to use, think of it just like a GoCard, Opal card or Myki.
- You can Top-up your Credit before you arrive at the Festival by setting up your very own Digital Wallet here.
- Your Digital Wallet has heaps of efficient features: you can view your transaction history, Top-up Credit from your smart phone, and more!
- It’s very unlikely, but even if your Smart Wristband is lost or destroyed, as long as you create a Digital Wallet and link your wristband or ticket, we can issue you a new Smart Wristband and cancel the old one. Your replacement wristband will automatically be added to your Digital Wallet – but only if you linked the original!
- No matter how much Credit you’ve got left, we’ll happily refund any unused paid credit to you for no additional fee.
Wow, so your Cashless System is just like a GoCard, Opal card or Mykil!
Uhm…that’s not a question… but it’s true!
What’s a Digital Wallet?
It’s magic. You open it and unicorns with pretzels hanging from their horn will gallop towards you on a rainbow of sausages and pay for your pork knuckle. Ok, so the last part about them paying is not true. But all the other stuff is. Well almost. Let’s put it another way: the bit about it being magic (in a metaphorical sense, I mean) is definitely true, which makes it a pretty nifty bit of tech to super charge your experience at Oktoberfest Brisbane!
For those tech geeks amongst you, the Digital Wallet is an online platform where you create a personal and secure account which adds lots of functionality to your Cashless experience at Oktoberfest Brisbane. You can view your complete transaction history, have the option to allocate credit to people in your account, set up Auto Top-up, and much more. Its power is unleashed on entry to the Festival at the Ticket Swap when you receive your Smart Wristband in exchange for your ticket. Check out the rest of the FAQs for all the inside knowledge!
What are Credits?
“Credits” is the name of the cashless currency at Oktoberfest Brisbane. They are the only form of payment that can be used across the entire Festival. $1 = one Credit.
How do I make purchases at Oktoberfest Brisbane?
Once you’ve Topped-up your Digital Wallet, you can make cashless purchases anywhere at the Festival. Just place your order, tap your wristband to pay, and off you go!
The purchase amount will automatically be deducted from your Digital Wallet and we’ll send you an e-receipt via email. It’s that easy!
How do I Top Up Credit?
There are several ways you can Top-up Credit:
Before the Festival: You have two options. You can purchase credit with your ticket purchase or once you’ve bought a Ticket online, set up your Digital Wallet and securely Top-up Credit using your credit card. While you’re online now, why don’t you set it up! Just click here to get started and don’t forget to keep your ticket number handy. Think of it just like a GoCard, Opal card or Myki!
At the Festival: You have two options. The best way to Top-up Credit at Oktoberfest Brisbane is from your smart phone. You will need your Smart Wristband numbers to do so, then securely Top-up Credit using your credit card. If you don’t want to set up a Digital Wallet, you can still use our Cashless System by directly topping-up Credit to your Smart Wristband with cash or card by visiting one of the Top-up Stations, Self-Serve Top Up Stations or seeing our friendly Roaming Top-up Staff on the Festival site.
No matter how much unspent Credit you’ve got left, we’ll happily refund any purchased credit to you at no charge. Click here to see everything you need to know about refunds.
Where is my Credit stored?
If you have set up your Digital Wallet, any Credit you Top-up will be securely stored in there. This is the safest way to manage your Credit. In the unlikely event that you should somehow lose your Smart Wristband, we can issue you a replacement, link it to your existing Digital Wallet and cancel the old Smart Wristband. Think of it just like a GoCard, Opal card or Myki!
If you do not set up a Digital Wallet, you can Top-up Credit directly to your Smart Wristband using card or cash by visiting one of the Top-up Stations, Self-Serve Top Up Stations, or seeing our friendly Roaming Top-up Staff on the Festival site. Again it’s unlikely, but if you lose your Smart Wristband and you don’t have a Digital Wallet set up, it’s no different to losing cash. We can replace the Smart Wristband, but any Credit you may have had will be lost.
How does Bonus Credit work?
If you received Bonus Credit when you Topped Up during one of our promotions, that’s great! Bonus credit can be spent anywhere at the Festival on anything.
The way credit gets spent from your Digital Wallet is on a First In First Out (FIFO) basis. Your initial Topped Up amount goes in first and then any eligible Bonus Credit is added to your account. When you start to spend at the Festival, your initial Topped Up amount will leave your Digital Wallet first, then any Bonus Credit from that initial amount. If you then Topped Up again you would then spend that credit, and so on.
Please note that any unspent Bonus Credit is non-refundable.
What happens if I run out of Credit?
No problem! If you have set up your Digital Wallet, log in using your smart phone and Top-up there. Alternatively, you can use cash or card to Top-up by visiting one of the Top-up Stations, Self-Serve Top Up Stations, or seeing our friendly Roaming Top-up Staff on the Festival site.
What if I have left over Credit when the Festival ends?
What if I have leftover Credit when the Festival ends?
We love easy questions! In a nutshell, it’s your money so we’ll gladly refund your purchased leftover Digital Wallet balance to you at no charge. All Credit left unredeemed by the close of the Festival will be refunded in accordance with the terms below:
- How to get a Refund of unused purchased credit: Leftover purchased Credit in your account will require you to enter your bank details into the “Post Event Refund Details” section within your Digital Wallet account (don’t have a Digital Wallet account, see how to set one up below
). Upon verification, we will process refunds with our bank mid week every week for 6 weeks after the end of the Festival. The deadline for submitting Refund Forms to make the last batch is Monday 25th, November 2019. Refund processing is subject to verification of the data provided by the guest in the Refund Form. The guest is responsible for submitting accurate data.
- Bonus Credit: Bonus Credits are non- refundable. Once you spend your initial top-up amount, you’ll then be able to spend your acquired bonus, then if you top-up again by yourself or via auto top-up, you would then spend your new added amount. When your refund is processed you will receive all remaining funds less any unspent Bonus Credit.
If you need a refund while on-site, please visit one of the Top Up Stations to refund your remaining credit. Please note: once a refund has been made on your wristband your refund will no longer be able to be used.
International Refund Applicants: We encourage all international Festival attendees to get a refund from a Top Up Station before leaving the Festival as we do not do Digital Wallet refunds to foreign accounts. All Digital Wallet refunds must be made to an Australian bank account or on-site at Oktoberfest Brisbane.
For inquiries into your Digital Wallet please contact support@oktoberfestbrisbane.com.au using subject line ‘Digital Wallet’
What is the Ticket Swap and why is it so important?
The Ticket Swap is when we swap your ticket for your Smart Wristband. This happens on your first entry to the Festival. If you bought an e-Ticket online and have successfully set up your Digital Wallet before arriving at the Festival, the Ticket Swap associates your Digital Wallet to your new Smart Wristband. You can now go and directly make a purchase using your Smart Wristband.
If you bought a ticket at the gate, once you are wearing your Smart Wristband go here to create your personal Digital Wallet. You will need the numbers on the front and back of the chip on your Smart Wristband.
How do I check my Digital Wallet balance?
Easy! Anytime you make a purchase using your Smart Wristband, your remaining Digital Wallet balance will be displayed to you. If you’re quite comfortable sitting where you are but want to know your balance, don’t get up! Pull out your phone, log in to your Digital Wallet and hey presto. You can also see your complete transaction history there. If you’re more the moving type or don’t have your Digital Wallet set up, just head to any Bar or Top Up Station and ask for a Balance Check – it’s free.
What else can my Digital Wallet do?
A picture says a thousand words, and moving pictures say even more so watch this video here for the full rundown!
Can Minors register their own Digital Wallet?
If you are under 18, you will be issued a different colour Smart Wristband. You won’t have your own Digital Wallet, but your Adult accompanying you to the Festival can Link your Smart Wristband to their Digital Wallet. They can then use various features in their Digital Wallet to manage your Smart Wristband, for example give you Credit to use at the Festival. The Minor’s Wristband will let you use this Credit to purchase rides and drinks except alcoholic beverages.
What if I bought a ticket online but didn’t set up my Digital Wallet?
That’s ok, even if you’re already at the Festival you can still set up your personal Digital Wallet anytime by going here.
What if I don’t want to set up my Digital Wallet, can I still buy rides and drinks at the Festival?
Rides are awesome, so yes you can! Plus they make you thirsty so yes you can buy drinks too. Top Up Credit directly to your Smart Wristband by visiting one of the Top Up stations, Self-Serve Top Up Stations, or seeing our friendly Roaming Top Up Staff on the Festival site, then just tap your Smart Wristband to pay.
I’ve bought multiple tickets online for my friends and I, how do we register our own Digital Wallets?
We’ve made that part easier than ordering a pretzel! Hand out the e-Tickets to your friends and be careful to give out each e-Ticket only once, they are unique. Then each of you head to our Digital Wallet page here and follow the simple instructions to register. Your unique e-Ticket Number is required to register and it’s important that each of your friends then use that same e-Ticket when entering the Festival. Why you ask? Because the Ticket Swap at entry will link you and your Digital Wallet to your Smart Wristband. See here for more information about that.
What’s this Smart Wristband I hear so much about?
Good question! Your Smart Wristband is as important to your Cashless experience at Oktoberfest Brisbane as hops are to a brewer. You will need it to scan in and out of the Festival site and for every purchase you want to make while you’re embracing your inner German. It is super simple and easy to use, keep reading these FAQs or see our video for more information.
When do I receive my Smart Wristband?
So how do I get mine, I hear you say? It’s easy: on entry to the Festival at the Ticket Swap, your ticket will be swapped for your personal Smart Wristband. You must always wear your Smart Wristband on your right wrist for the duration of your stay at the Festival. If you did not set up a Digital Wallet before or during the Festival, you will need to keep your Smart Wristband to have the information you need to have leftover purchased Credit refunded after the Festival. See here for more information about that.
What is an e-Ticket?
An e-Ticket is simply your electronic Ticket to Oktoberfest Brisbane which was emailed to you in PDF format after you bought it on our website. Each one has a unique e-Ticket number which you can use to link your e-Ticket to your secure Digital Wallet before you arrive at the Festival.
Can I share my Smart Wristband with a friend?
Sharing is caring and Oktoberfest Brisbane is all about love, but your Smart Wristband is yours alone. It is required to scan in and out of the Festival and is your unique key to your personal (or a shared) Digital Wallet and Credit balance. You must wear it on your right wrist at all times while at the Festival, meaning you and each of your friends must all have their own Smart Wristband.
Can I invite my friends by paying for their stuff?
Of course! No doubt your friends will be more than happy for you to shout them a Schwarzwälderkirschtorte {Black Forrest Cake} with your Smart Wristband. But remember that you cannot split payment for an item or a transaction. Only one wristband can be used to open the transaction, and that same wristband must be used to close and confirm the purchase. This is a security feature to ensure you are always in control of your own spending.
Can Minors buy things at the Festival with their Smart Wristband?
Yes they can! The Minors Smart Wristband can be linked to an accompanying adult’s Digital Wallet, or Credit can be added to a Minors Smart Wristband by visiting our friendly crew at any of the Top-Up stations located in the Festival.
How do I register my kids for their Minors Smart Wristband?
Super simple, just show up at the Festival entry along with all your kids and your own valid ticket. Once you have your Smart Wristband, we will issue a Minors Smart Wristband to each Minor in your care.
My Smart Wristband is too tight, can I just cut it off?
Right, so you just couldn’t help yourself and had to fiddle with the lock on your Smart Wristband, and now it’s too tight. No problem! If you’re still at the Festival we can fix that, just come see the friendly crew at the Solutions Team, just inside the Festival entry at the Information Booth.
Once you’ve left the Festival, you can cut your Smart Wristband off anytime. If you didn’t create your Digital Wallet at or before the Festival, just remember to keep your Smart Wristband chip in a safe place as you’ll need the numbers on the back of it to request your purchased Credit refund from any onsite Top-ups you may have made.
My Smart Wristband doesn’t work help!
No problem, we can restore your cashless experience to its former Bavarian glory! It’ll take only a moment, just come and see the friendly crew at the Solutions Team, onsite just inside the Festival entry at the Information Booth.
Help! My dog ate my Smart Wristband!
Hmmm ok, so you’ve lost your Smart Wristband, but don’t worry, us Germans have a solution for that as well! If you’re still at the Festival that’s no problem, but you shouldn’t have brought your dog along. Just go and see our friendly Cashless Support Staff at the Info tent and they’ll be able to help you out. If you’re already at home, first take your dog to the vet, then log onto your Digital Wallet online so you can register for your purchased Credit refund (if you Topped Up at the Festival). If you Topped Up online only, your purchased unused credit will automatically be refunded back to you.
If you didn’t register for your personal Digital Wallet, ring your vet and tell him that once they’re done helping your dog, you need that Smart Wristband back so you can register for your purchased Credit refund. Or just write us an email by clicking here and we’ll see what we can do to help out.
Can I buy things at the Festival with cash or card instead of with my Smart Wristband?
To ensure everyone has the most efficient German experience possible, the Cashless System is the only form of payment accepted at all vendors at Oktoberfest Brisbane. In addition to using their Smart Wristband to pay, guests in the Bayrisches Eck {Bavarian Corner} can use credit or debit cards (no cash accepted) to pay. Cash or card are the only way you can Top-up Credit to your Smart Wristband at the Festival Top-up Stations.
Which credit cards do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express. This goes for any online Top-ups or Top-ups made at the Top-up Stations the Festival.
Do you charge any credit card fees?
Absolutely not. As customers we don’t like fees, so we’ve worked very hard to remove all card payment fees from your Oktoberfest Brisbane experience. Oktoberfest Brisbane is proud to be 100% fee free! (yippee!)
I’m still a bit confused, how can I get help?
No problem, happy to help. If you’re still at the Festival, just go and see the friendly crew at the Solutions Team, just inside the Festival entry at the Information Booth. Alternatively, write an email to Support@OktoberfestBrisbane.com.au and we’ll answer all your queries that way.
Can I use the same Digital Wallet if I come to the Festival on more than one day?
Does a Bavarian wear Lederhosen? If you don’t know the answer to that we’ve not done our job! Besides that, it’s a great way to use any leftover Credit in your Digital Wallet. Just follow these 3 simple steps:
- Buy a ticket and enter the Festival
- Log into your existing Digital Wallet account here
- Link your new Smart Wristband into your existing Digital Wallet account using the numbers on the back of the Smart Wristband chip.
Fertig! By the way, a Smart Wristband can only be used for entry on the day that we issued it to you.
How do I refund left over Credit from my children’s Smart Wristbands?
The exact same way as you would for your own. For all the details on that, click here
Where do I get my Smart Wristband?
Glad you asked! Your Smart Wristband will be given to you at the gate during the Ticket Swap. We’ll trade you a Smart Wristband for your entry ticket and if you’ve already set up your Digital Wallet, by scanning the two together, the credit you loaded in your Digital Wallet will automatically be available on your Smart Wristband. Voila! It’s magic!
I created a Digital Wallet when I came to Oktoberfest Brisbane the last time. Can I use it again?
We’re as happy as a Bavarian in a Beergarden that you’re coming to see us again! We work every year to improve your cashless experience at Oktoberfest Brisbane, meaning please create yourself a brand new Digital Wallet in 3 simple steps here.

Can children attend the Festival?
Minors are family too so the Festival is open to all ages. Patrons under the age of 18 years that attend the Festival receive free entry but in accordance with the Qld Liquor Act 1992 must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult at all times. Each of the following persons is a responsible adult in relation to a minor: (a) A parent, step parent or guardian of the minor, or (b) an adult who has parental rights and responsibilities for the minor.
What activities are there for children?
Just like in a real German Festival there’s lots to keep the kids entertained from the minute you enter. Sundays are our special Family Fun-days! Singing, dancing plus fabulous yodelling and German dancers are a great favourite – the youngest dancer is only five. They can join in the Hat Dance or just groove along to the Chicken Dance. Outside there are rides, baby farm animals to pat, a real German-style puppet show with heaps of other fun thrown in, goal kicking, a photo wall, roaming musicians, fashion shows (with kids in them too) and lots more we’re busy planning – and heaps of delicious food and drink for those rumbly tummies. Check out the program here.
Can I come and go throughout the day?
Yes! Remember to get a pass out stamp on leaving the Festival and keep your wristband on – then you can come and go as often as you want. Last entry is an hour before closing time so make sure you’re back by then to enjoy the last songs of the evening.
When do I need to provide proof of age and why?

- Foreign driver licence – Note: Where a foreign driver licence is not written in English, an international driver permit issued in the foreign country of origin (and including a photo of the licence holder and translation) should be presented with the foreign driver licence.
For the full Oktoberfest Brisbane Terms and Conditions please click here.
Why are bag checks necessary and what things can and can’t I bring into the Festival site?
Bag checks are necessary, because some things are not allowed to be brought to Oktoberfest Brisbane. Examples of some things you can’t bring in are: glass, alcohol, weapons, illicit substances, pets, chandeliers or cement mixers. We do let you bring in things such as picnic blankets, table cloths, seating cushions, children and your in-laws, but only if you promise to take them all home again at the end of the day.
Seriously though, it is a condition of entry to the Festival that you permit a search of your possessions at the time of entry to the venue. Any item we may consider inappropriate can’t be brought in and may be confiscated. Refusal to consent to a search will prevent your entry to the Festival site which will probably cause tears.
Does Oktoberfest Brisbane have an environmental policy?
The environment needs our love. As of 2017, we have made sure that 100% of the packaging used at the Festival is guaranteed recyclable or compostable. Show Mother Nature your love and place your litter in the correct bin at Oktoberfest Brisbane.
Oktoberfest Brisbane is so for me, but I need a companion to help me get around. Do they have to buy a ticket?
Oktoberfest Brisbane is a registered affiliate of the Companion Card program. We will grant complimentary general admission to one Adult for every companion card holder. If the companion card holder has purchased their ticket online, simply present it at the box office before entering the Festival to be issued your companion’s complimentary ticket.
Can I bring my own glass Stein? Can I bring my previous Oktoberfest Brisbane Stein?
Glass is out! The Oktoberfest Brisbane site is a Glass Free Zone. To assist us in complying with the conditions of our Liquor Licence, glass, earthenware or things made from similar materials are not permitted to be brought into any part of the venue. But there’s good news, check out our exclusive Oktoberfest Brisbane Stein! It looks like glass, but is 100% plastic. If you have yours from last time you came to the Festival, you’re welcome to bring it along.
Can I photograph or film at the Festival?
Telling everyone about Oktoberfest Brisbane is ok! But please, if you are a professional or semi-professional photographer, videographer or journalist, you must make contact with our media team via media@OktoberfestBrisbane.com.au before you head to the Festival to record it. Amateur cameras (such as for example mobile phones) are permitted but images may only be used for private purposes and not public display.
Can I bring my dog or pet frog to the Festival?
Pets are awesome, but unfortunately not permitted on the Oktoberfest Brisbane site, unless they are registered assistance animals, in which case they are welcome.
Can I smoke at the Festival?
Smoking is not permitted in any area of the Oktoberfest Brisbane site except for in designated smoking areas. Alcohol is not permitted to be taken into designated smoking areas.
What’s your take on privacy and how safe are my details?
Privacy is as important to us as it is to you. We value your trust and will never sell, share or rent your personal information to unsolicited third parties.
Our Privacy Policy outlines how we handle your personal information in more detail.
What type of food and drink can I enjoy at Oktoberfest Brisbane?
The food and drink on offer at Oktoberfest Brisbane is some of the most tasty and authentic available outside of Germany. It wasn’t easy to find, so please support our handcrafted beverage and foodie partners by leaving yours at home. For more information about what’s available at this year’s Festival click here.
Why is there a maximum of three alcoholic beverages per transaction?
To comply with the conditions on our Liquor Licence, we are permitted to serve a maximum of three alcoholic beverages per person at any one time.
I’ve got dietary requirements, what’s the Festival got for me?
Across all our foodie partners, the menus cover most common dietary requirements, such as vegetarian, vegan, gluten free.
Do you have any gluten-free drinks?
All our Schnaps mixers (Peach, Apple, Wild Cherry), as well as all wines, champagne and soft drinks are gluten-free. (And water of course).
Why don’t you serve 1 Litre glass steins at the Festival?
We try and keep the Festival as true and authentic to the Oktoberfest in Munich and would love to serve in 1 Litre glass steins, however due to liquor licensing laws in Queensland, for a festival of our type, we are unable to serve in glass and unable to serve in steins larger than 500ml.
Does Oktoberfest Brisbane have a Complaint Handling procedure?
We sure do! All you need to do is email support@oktoberfestbrisbane.com.au. We read all submissions and will respond within three (3) business days. Once your complaint has been received, we will undertake an initial review of your complaint.
There may be circumstances during the initial review or investigation of your complaint where we may need to clarify certain aspects of your complaint or request additional documentation from you. In such circumstances we will explain the purpose of seeking clarification or additional documentation and provide you with feedback on the status of your complaint at that time. We will endeavour to respond to you as soon as practical, taking into account the circumstances giving rise to the complaint.
Once we have finalised your complaint, we will advise you of our findings and any action we have taken. We will usually do this in writing, unless the circumstances are such that a verbal response is appropriate.
We reserve the right not to respond to any complaints which we deem to be, in our reasonable opinion, offensive, vexatious or abusive.
Bayrisches Eck {Bavarian Corner} FAQs
How many people fit at one table?
Up to 8 people can sit at one table
I have 9 people, can’t you squeeze in one more person or add a chair?
We are certain that you can fit 9 people on a table, heck in Germany 10 people sit on one table, however, we have found that in Australia we like a bit more wiggle room, therefore, we only seat a maximum of 8 people per table.
What if I only have 6 people and not 8 people, does it get cheaper?
The tables are sold as one table that can fit up to 8 people. However, Oktoberfest Brisbane is a very friendly environment and a great way to meet new people. So if you have less than 8 people, we can guarantee you’ll make friends really quick when offering to bring them up to your VIP table!
Not all of the people in my party drink beer, is there anything else to drink aside from beer?
Yes! Although we pride ourselves on the traditional German beer we have on offer, we also have a great selection of Wine, Champagne, and Schnaps!
Not all of the people in my party drink alcohol, are there any non-alcoholic options?
Yes! We have a range of soft drinks available as well as water. And if they like the taste of beer but are looking for a non-alcoholic option, we have our Tucher Hefeweizen Alkoholfrei bier which is a great non-alcoholic wheat beer.

We have 8 people on our table and I would like to bring my kids, can they sit on my lap?
Minors are kids too, so the Festival is open to all ages. On Sunday, if the child is under 2 years of age, they can sit on your lap, however, that is limited to 2 lap children under 2 years of age per table. Similar for when you purchase an airplane ticket, after a certain age even the little ones count as a big one.
Can I purchase an additional table if I already have one and are you able to put this table next to ours so that all of us can sit together?
Yes, you can purchase as many tables as you need to fit your party size. We do our absolute best to arrange group bookings next to each other.
We are more than 8 people, can we add seats to existing tables?
A maximum of 8 people can sit at each table. Time to make more friends and get another table!

Is there an option to make payments on a Bavarian Corner table if I don’t have the money or friends right now?
Yes, we understand that choosing your group of 8 to join this exclusive experience with you may take time, and then getting them to transfer their share into your account may take even more time! For this, we’ve created a Pay in Instalments option. Choose this option when booking your table and you can then pay in set instalments. Please note there’s a $40 service fee with this option.
