Go for Gotzinger Garten

Götzinger Smallgoods is bringing to life the Götzinger Garten this year at Oktoberfest Brisbane.

Just a skip and a jump past the bier garten on your way to the Oktoberfest tent,  the Götzinger Garten is an oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the main tent, the perfect place to grab a snack, have a seat and catch up with friends.

Get your hands on a Götzinger Sausage Cone from the Götzinger food van or a Götzinger Tasting Platter from the Götzinger cottage to taste 5 Götzinger delicacies! Pull up a spot on a biergarten bench and sit with friends under the shade of the trees during the day or the fairy lights at night and take in the atmosphere of Oktoberfest Brisbane!

The ‘Gotzinger Tasting Platter’

When making their sausages Götzinger takes their inspiration not only from their Austrian origins but from all over the world. From the New Yorker Hotdogs to the German Bratwursts, Götzinger uses the best meats and spices, and the highest quality woodchips in their smokehouses – the proof is in the flavour and tastebuds don’t lie!

The Woodsmoked Kabana

The original owners of Götzinger Smallgoods migrated to Australia in early 1908 and opened a smallgoods factory in Burleigh on the Gold Coast. The business enjoyed growth in the foodservice sector supplying hotels, restaurants and local delis. The business was sold in 2000 to Antony van der Drift. Antony had been involved in the Smallgoods industry his entire adult life, with his father owning one of Australia’s largest Smallgoods companies, Hans Smallgoods – sausage royalty!

Once you’ve had a taste of Götzinger Smallgoods, join the sausage royalty family and take a seat on the Gotzinger Throne, throw on a crown and snap a pic with your Kings and Queens. Upload your best shot to Instagram and tag #sausageroyalty for your chance to win some great prizes!

Götzinger Smallgoods is Queensland’s largest Australian owned Smallgoods manufacturer. The company employs over 100 people around the country and operates out of a purpose-built factory in Yatala. Although the company has grown significantly over the past decade, Götzinger continues to produce high quality, award winning Smallgoods the traditional way using original recipes and techniques.

Götzinger Smallgoods is proud to be a partner of Oktoberfest Brisbane.
