There’s no mistaking that Oktoberfest Brisbane celebrations around the world embrace the hoppier side of things with a nice German beer (or two). Pairing those beers with the right pork knuckles, sausages, sauerkraut and schnitzels is a key element to any good German meal and a requirement of a successful day during Oktoberfest. However, there’s so much more to learn about beer, food, and how to make that match made in heaven, even more heavenly.
To help us learn more about what’s required for this perfect match Beer Matt, Matt Kirkegaard (Brisbane-based freelance beer writer and all-round beer expert), and Emily Loo (2014 Masterchef contestant) will be taking us through an educational journey to match the perfect beer with the perfect meal.
